I took a chance on buying this mug as I was not sure what would help my 87 year old dad trembling arthritic hands. My mom reports that my dad eats his lunchtime soup out of this mug with much greater dexterity than he was able to before with a single handed mug. That second handle makes it very easy for him to grasp with both hands to drink without the dribbling and he can use a spoon more easily too. The only issue is that she does not run the dishwasher every day so he only gets this good mug about every fourth day.O very I say. Am back to buy three more for him so he is not covered in soup while waiting for the one good mug to be cleaned. Such a simple solution that allows him to eat with greater ease and dignity.
